New Metaphysical Center opens in Anoka

ANOKA, MN – Spirit River Gallery & Exchange, a metaphysical center, recently opened in historic downtown Anoka at 2013 2nd Avenue. Owner Tammy Heath Pierson created Spirit River to provide the community a place of education, classes and lectures, books, and gifts and art. Spiritual counseling from a variety of established and up-and-coming intuitives, as well as rejuvenation from healers, will be offered.

“The idea of Spirit River came to me as a place of community where practitioners of the metaphysical arts and artisans have a venue to showcase and market their talents, and to provide a crossroads for the spiritual community and the general public alike,” Pierson said.

Spring events include professional psychic medium Alison James offering her popular Spirit Gallery from 10 a.m. to Noon, followed by a Psychic Fair from 1-5 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. Lodestone Dynamics will present an “Aura & Chakras” workshop from 3-5:30 p.m. on April 10. And Val Medeiros and Chris Tonnar will present Mediumship and Deep Trance Channeling at Spirit River on March 20 and April 17, from 1-4 p.m. on both days.

Upcoming classes include: “Yoga,” “Intuitive Mastery Circles,” “QiGong,” “Psychism in 3D: Discovery, Direction & Development” and “Palmistry.” Book clubs, networking groups and others will be gathering at Spirit River.
